Co-organized by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), the private economy standards innovation conference 2022, which is also the opening ceremony of the private economy standards innovation week, was held in Beijing on September 5, aiming to summarize the standardization practice on private economy since the 19th CPC National Congress in 2017, outline a vision for the beautiful future of private economy standards innovation in the new era, and promote the high-quality development of private economy.

 

The conference was convened in hybrid form, which was addressed by Mr. Gao Yunlong, Chairman of ACFIC, and Mr. Luo Wen, Minister of SAMR. 

 

Standards play a fundamental, supporting role in guiding the high-quality development of private economy and facilitating the sound political and commercial relationship. To put more emphasis on the guiding role of standards and the implementation of the standardization strategy, we should work together to stimulate the vigor, impetus and capability of standards innovation in private economy, making greater contribution to the healthy growth of both non-public sector and related personnel, according to Mr. Gao.

 

When entering the new development period, SAMR will actively work with ACFIC to help private enterprises to solve problems, promote scientific and technological innovation, optimize business environment, maintain sustainable economic growth and go international, thereby facilitating the high-quality development of private economy with concerted efforts, said Mr. Luo.

 

During the event, Dr. Zhang Xiaogang, Head of Standardization Work Committee of ACFIC, and several representatives from private enterprises and chambers of commerce shared their experience. Dr. Tian Shihong, Vice-Minister of SAMR and Administrator of SAC, Mr. Lu Yong, Vice Chairman of ACFIC, Mr. Zhao Dejiang, Secretary General of ACFIC, experts from related standardization work committees, and representatives of private enterprises and chambers of commerce, attended the event at the scene. 

 

The private economy standards innovation week 2022 was initiated at the event. Six regions including Beijing, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Shenzhen carried out themed special activities with local characteristics in the fields such as carbon peak and neutrality standards, digital economy and financial technologies. These activities have fully showcased the outcomes of standardization, established the platform for communication and discussion, and explored a strategic pathway for the high-quality development of private economy with high standards in the all-round construction of a modern socialist country in the new era.
