China and Russia Jointly Release a National Standard on Aircraft

The China-Russia Task Force on Civil Aircraft held its 12th meeting on October 19, 2022, and released a national standard of the two countries, the Requirements for cabin acoustic design of transport aircraft.

 

The meeting was moderated by Mr. Guo Chenguang, Deputy Director-General of Standards Innovative Management Department, Standardization Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), and Mr. Anton Shalaev, Head of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology of Russia (GOST R). Mr. Wei Hong, Deputy Director-General of Standards Technical Management Department, SAMR, introduced the background and significance of developing the national standard together by the two countries.

 

To promote the cooperation of civil aircraft research and development in the two countries, the experts in the Task Force have spent two years in developing the standard. The standard was approved for release by both Standardization Administration of China (SAC) and GOST R on October 14, which will be included in the list of mutually recognized standards on civil aircraft in China and Russia and available for use in the projects on civil aircraft in the two countries.
